MyFitnessPal App Rework
Some things I noticed about MyFitnessPal: The interface was boring. Buttons were placed weird. Ads were taking over. The homepage full of blogs is not what people want to see first.

To fix these issues I decided to make things more fun by adding color and round shapes. I made the homepage the progress of goals and the calories burned so that would be the first thing people see. I added trophies to help give a sense of accomplishment when users accomplish their goals. I also added an inspirational message to give encouragement for people using the app. I also used icons to give more variety to the design to give more interest to the viewer.

On the journal page, I used many of the same techniques. I put the total calories of each section at the top that way it's easy to see. I also made sure people could have an option to minimize each section. It also helps to simplify the design and space. I made options for users to add and edit information.

This rework I designed is better suited to help people feel motivated and keep track of their progress to help them reach their fitness goals.
